遊騎兵隊先發投手 Yovani Gallardo強壓6局沒失分，9局上Leonys Martin擊出突破平手僵局的安打，終場遊騎兵2比0擊敗金鶯。
今天遊騎兵對金鶯之戰，是場精采的投手戰，兩隊先發投手Yovani Gallardo以及Kevin Gausman都表現優異，尤其是Gallardo，投6局只被打出2支安打沒失分，雖沒拿到勝投，但他連續29.1局沒失分，是本季最長的連續局數沒失分紀錄。
此戰打完前8局，0比0平手，直到9局上，秋信守獲保送，Elvis Andrus犧牲觸擊，Leonys Martin先敲安打，送回突破僵局的第1分，接著Rougned Odor再補上1支安打，打回第2分。
值得一提的是，Leonys Martin此戰之前34打數只擊出1支安打，他今天用適時安打，結束了自己的低潮。Gallardo投完6局退場，牛棚投手Sam Freeman、Keone Kela、Shawn Tolleson聯手壓制了金鶯隊的攻勢，金鶯全場只擊出3支安打。
金鶯左外野手David Lough此戰不僅敲2安，而且第2局展現美技守備，撞上全壘打牆接殺Elvis Andrus擊出的深遠飛球，讓現場球迷大呼過癮。
